What you can do

Students keep checking in while the internet is out. Events are stored on the kiosk, never lost.

When the network returns, pending data uploads itself to the dashboard with correct timestamps.

Every kiosk registers with its own identity and keys. A random device can't impersonate the gate.

For the main gate, the desktop kiosk (Tauri) installs on Windows or Mac without a browser.
